Moved in and far, far away from the fucking condo. Been working real hard on making the house acceptable. Ripped carpet out, waxed and buffed it. Chemically sanded one of the bedrooms. Need new appliances. The fucking oven doesn't work and the mini-dishwasher's pump blew.

Some kid came by to ask about taking our discarded carpet. A car of two women came by later and hauled out a few rolls. They put it in there backseat. About five minutes later, a white pick-up came through sifting through people's trash. They took someone's tossed out VCR. Where the hell do I live now? And about 10 minutes ago, fireworks were being shot off.

Bought a bird feeder. Kittie is going from window to window. I think she likes it here.
