Listening to: The Headcoatees

I took one of the clients to of all places....Applebees....she'd never been there before and thought it was a fancy place to go to. She never saw napkins under glasses and appetizers didn't make sense to her. I suffered through a horrible salad and she had her first appetizer ever, nacho's. She ordered dessert as well.

Went out for brews with my realator later. It was nice. Her husband showed up. An english teacher. We had alot in common. It was a good time, until I got somewhat wasted and said I did not like Peter Pan Peanut Butter because of the shape of the bottle. What the hell?!

1) The Evens - "Get Evens" Always political, as we know, Ian can be. Lyrics like "the price of gas," and "have you had enough your plate is overflowing can't you see you've had enough," make statements at the current economic state. There are some rocking parts with this album, with fuzzed out bass, and hollow drumming. Actually, reminscent of early Fugazi days. Amy Farina is a stronger element on this album verses prior. Her voice radiats and doesn't battle for attention with Ian. Its a good one.
