1) Of Montreal "She's a rejecter" Another weirdo snippet of this band. Is this what all the kewl kids listen to these days? I much prefer the (I'm 99% sure) now defunct band Measels, Mumps, Rubella . What do I know, except maybe give it a few more listens before selling it on EBAY.

CD:

1) Neko Case - "Fox confessor brings the food" My new favorite albun. I get a sickening nostalga feeling taking me back to high school. Like that first shitty/yet good love feeling with the first flame. Her voice is haunting coupled with back-up instrumentation from a few of the Calexico boys. And I believe, that anything one of the Calexico boys touches is gold and puts me in a twirling mellowed out drunk status. Anyways, favorite tracks are: "Margaret vs. Pauline," "Star Witness," "Hold on, Hold on," and "That teenage feeling." This is a mixture of twang, surf, 50 and 60's, subtle indie stuff. Real good times here.
