Anyways, the vegetarian in the family, that would be me, picked up the 18 pound bird this morning. I tried not thinking too much of the death craddled in my left arm, with bags full of 2 liters being carried in my right arm. The poor thing barly fit on the bottom shelf of the fridge.

I have to clean and make cookies today. DJ and I will prep some of the vegetable sides tonight over beer and pizza.

Our music shop friends asked us to go out for a free show tonight. I doubt that will happen. We all know that DJ needs to sleep a few hours before he goes out.

The music shop people asked if I was going to pick up Waits new album this week. Ugh.....DJ preordered it for x-mas as a gift. They said it was okay because they sold out of all the copies. Yet, shit, I have to wait until the 25th of December to get mine. ! How will it have a chance to make the list for best album here in this diary? I might be suaded for 6 days and vote it in. Meanwhile, Catpower's album might not have a chance. Why does this all matter to me. I need a life outside of this diary.
