Listening to: Against Me!

Holy shit!!!! I got a high score of 138 last night while bowling. Plus I won cash money for going over my average as compared to others. We're the worst team, yet we can win because our handicap is so fucking high. Better watch out in the parking lot.

CD's:

1) The Legendary Shack Shakers - "Cockadoodledon't" A pleuthoria of sounds, ranging from country twang, folk, punk, and rock. Tracks 1-5 are the best for some reason. This is definatly an "in the mood" CD. I couln'd play it all the time, just when the time is right, I guess that that makes it somewhat special.

2) This Moment in Black History - "It takes a nation of assholes to hold us back" Fuck is this a good album! I've played it a few times and already love it. Definatly more mature than prior records. It has more of a dirty punk skate feel as well. Not Spits , rather The Murder City Devils in some parts, especially track 10. The songs are longer and the musicianship is sound. The bassist dropped out, sadly.....eh, maybe thats why. Although "Nailed to the Cross" is an Easter Monkeys cover, I must say I enjoy the (addition) ode to locals at the end. Unfortunatly only those from where the band are from will know what I'm talking about. I love this album and you will too....so fucking go out and buy it!

My record needles have arrived, now I can listen to the albums I bought like forever ago. Fuck!
