Listening to: All Girl Summer Fun Band

Saw a show.....

The opening band sucked so I'm not going to even get into that. All I will say, that it was an excellent opportunity for me to get drunk during their set.

Th' Legendary Shack Shakers . I really don't know much about them, except to say that you don't want to mess with them. The guitarist yelled at the sound check dude and a fan while playing. He had death stares. The lead singer looked like something from the movie "Deliverance," with super flooded pants, suspenders and red socks. He must have weighed 100 pounds too...eek! Plus he danced like a super hillbilly, with much hopping and jumping. Don't mean to stereotype.....?

Their music borders on punk, rock, and 50's....making it rockabilly. Not bad....much better live than the CD we purchased. I'll talk about that the next entry.

Still figuring out a name for our bowling league. Yep, good times!
